Aikumo Katana Replica – AISI 1095 Steel, Choji Hamon, Bo-Hi
Code: ST-111

Product detailed description
Masterpiece Aikumo Katana Replica – AISI 1095 Steel, Bo-Hi, Nagasa 2.33 Shaku
This exclusive Aikumo katana replica is crafted from high-carbon AISI 1095 tool steel. The blade is differentially hardened using traditional methods, creating an authentic Choji hamon. For optimal handling, the blade is equipped with a Bo-Hi groove, reducing weight and producing a characteristic sound during cuts. The hardwood saya with a glossy blue finish and subtle decoration complements the elegant blue-silver handle wrapping.
The shinogi-zukuri construction with a nagasa of 70.7 cm is designed for clean and precise cuts. The true Yokote and precise blade geometry enhance stability and help absorb shock. This is a full tang construction, where the blade runs through the entire handle and is secured with two bamboo pegs (mekugi). The fittings (tsuba, kashira) are decorated with traditional historical motifs symbolizing prosperity and good fortune.
