The Katana BARA is a masterpiece that immediately captivates with its unusual aesthetics and first-class materials. The blade, made of T-10 steel, is partially hardened using a traditional method, creating a rich Choji hamon. The BARA model stands out primarily with its Saya, which is completely covered in genuine stingray leather, and its handle with yellow leather wrap. Owning this sword with a defined Yokote means owning a tool that respects the deep tradition of samurai art and the structural integrity of a true sword.

The blade was hand-forged in a Maru monocomposite configuration from T-10 steel. This high-carbon steel (1.1% carbon) is renowned for its strength and edge retention (58 HRC). The Shinogi-Zukuri profile without Bo-Hi groove gives the sword greater weight and strength, making it ideal for clean and stable cuts. The final hand polishing with a hazuya stone ensures an almost razor-sharp edge and a deep luster.

The blade features a real Choji hamon, created according to ancient forging methods. This harmonious tempering line complements the balanced shape of the blade and underscores the sword's character as a functional work of art, ready for demanding tameshigiri cutting tests.

The sword's tip features a genuine Diamond-Shaped Yokote. This element is crucial for the structural integrity of the tip, helping to absorb shock and ensure stability during cuts. The Hamon smoothly transitions across the Boshi along the entire length of the tip.
