Collector replica katana Sukukaze, T-10 steel, Hamon Midare-Gunome
Code: ST-11

Product detailed description
Katana Sukukaze, steel T-10, real hamon Midare-Gunome, Yokote
nagasa 2.28 Shaku
Hand-forged replica of a sword katana with a real Midare-Gunome hamon hardening line. This collector's replica is ideal as a unique decoration or for practicing traditional martial arts. The blade made of T-10 tool steel is partially hardened to a hardness of 58 HRC. An aesthetically pleasing blade combined with a hard Wenge wood scabbard and a handle wrapped in genuine stingray leather makes this katana a highly sought-after collector's item. The sword is delivered in a cloth bag.

The tip of the blade is shaped in the Shinogi-Zukuri profile (Ko Kissaki) with a true Diamond-Shaped Yokote that runs through the entire hamon and over the boshi. The blade has a sori (curvature) designed for precise cutting. Thanks to the high hardness of the steel and the Full Tang construction, the sword is suitable for study practice of tameshigiri on straw mats.
