Decorative Nobunaga wakizashi replica – AISI 1045 steel, Koshirae
Code: W-1023

Product detailed description
Hand-forged wakizashi Nobunaga replica from AISI 1045 steel
The blade of this wakizashi is made of AISI 1045 carbon steel. In the final stage, it was hand-polished with a hazuya stone, achieving a mirror finish and high sharpness. The edge is adorned with an aesthetic hamon imitation. The Full Tang construction ensures high strength of the entire sword, while the specially designed curve (Sori) supports fluid movement during practice.
This replica is equipped with a Bo-hi groove. During a technically correct swing, it emits the characteristic sound of "sword wind" (tachi kaze), which serves as an excellent aid for practicing technique purity. Due to the hardness of 48 HRC and the absence of partial hardening, the sword is not intended for cutting hard materials that could damage the edge.

The elements of Koshirae (traditional mountings) are processed to a high standard. The Saya is made of hardwood with a glossy finish and adorned with genuine buffalo horn. Handle (Tsuka) has a wooden core covered with real stingray skin (Samegawa) with black braiding. The blade is firmly secured with two bamboo pegs (mekugi).
