Decorative wakizashi replica Shimane – AISI 1045 folded steel
Code: W-643

Product detailed description
Forged wakizashi Shimane from folded steel AISI 1045
Hand-forged wakizashi Shimane is made from high-quality carbon steel AISI 1045. The blade is precisely polished in the final stage with a hazuya stone, achieving a high mirror polish and superior sharpness. Full tang construction ensures high tool strength, while the Bo-Hi groove provides a distinct sound effect (tachi kaze) during a properly executed cut, aiding in technique verification. Due to its hardness of 48 HRC and polished hamon imitation, this wakizashi is primarily intended for practicing forms and decorative purposes, not for cutting hard materials.

The blade tip is crafted in the shinogi-zukuri style with a chu kissaki tip and a real Diamond-Shaped Yokote. The overall design is complemented by a black glossy saya and a tsuka (handle) with genuine ray skin and black wrapping. The sword is delivered in a fabric bag that protects its surface from damage. This wakizashi symbolizes samurai honor and is an indispensable part of the traditional daisho set.
