The Katana Hanya is named after the iconic mask from Japanese Noh theatre, symbolizing deep emotions and protection against evil. The T-10 steel blade is partially hardened using the traditional clay tempering method, creating a rich Choji hamon reminiscent of clove flowers. This model represents an ideal balance between spiritual significance and uncompromising functionality, supported by centuries of samurai tradition.

The blade was hand-forged in a monocomposite Maru configuration from T-10 steel (1.1% carbon content). This high-carbon steel excels in extreme stiffness and edge retention. The Shinogi-Zukuri profile with a Bo-Hi groove reduces the sword's weight, improves its maneuverability, and provides a characteristic acoustic effect (tachikaze) during swings. Final polishing with a hazuya stone ensured a mirror finish and a razor-sharp edge.

The blade reflects a real Choji hamon, which is the result of differential hardening. This line is not just an aesthetic element, but proof of the blade's edge strength (58 HRC) while maintaining the core's flexibility. Every detail was individually crafted with an emphasis on structural integrity and aesthetic purity.

The blade tip features a genuine Diamond-Shaped Yokote, clearly defined by the hamon that runs along the entire length over the Boshi. The Sori (curvature) of 2.2 cm is designed for clean and precise cuts during tameshigiri.
