Need advice on choosing an alternative? Call us at +420 601 390 216The blade of this hand-forged wakizashi is made from high-quality T-10 carbon steel. In the final stage, it was hand-polished with a hazuya stone, achieving a mirror finish and razor sharpness. The blade features a real, partially hardened Choji-style hamon. The Full Tang construction (the blade runs through the entire handle) ensures the sword's high strength and durability.
The integrated Bo-hi groove serves to lighten the sword and also acts as an indicator of correct technique – with a perfectly executed cut, the blade will audibly whistle (known as tachi kaze). Combined with a hardness of 58 HRC, this wakizashi is fully functional and suitable for cutting tests on tatami or bamboo.

The handle (Tsuka) has a wooden core covered with genuine ray skin (Samegawa) with a high-quality leather wrap (Ito). The Musashi-style brass tsuba and matte speckled saya enhance the sword's aesthetic value. The blade is securely fastened in the handle with a single bamboo peg (mekugi).
