The Sensu no Michi model symbolizes openness, luck, and the gradual unfolding of life
Katana Sensu no Michi – "The Way of the Fan"
This replica is an exceptional fusion of a traditional blade shape and ornate style inspired by Japanese historical motifs. The blade is crafted from folded T-10 steel (11 folds creating 2048 layers), ensuring a unique grain structure and high toughness. Prominent Chōji hamon, reminiscent of clove blossoms, is the result of masterful differential hardening in a clay bath. The blade surface with a bo-hi groove has been hand-polished with hazuya stone to achieve a mirror finish and precise geometry.

The Shinogi-Zukuri style blade features a Chūzori style curvature (2.5 cm), allowing for precise cut guidance during tameshigiri practice on tatami mats. Full Tang construction ensures the integrity of the entire piece. A brass tsuba with a fan motif (Sensu) and a handle wrapped in genuine ray skin with blue leather wrapping Hineri-Maki accentuate the collectible value of this model.
