Handcrafted replica of the Wakizashi Shikai sword, folded steel AISI 1075
Code: W-821

Product detailed description
Crafted replica of the katana sword Wakizashi Shikai, AISI 1075 steel, Nagasa 1.66 Shaku
The blade of this hand-forged replica of the wakizashi type is made from folded AISI 1075 carbon steel. In the final stage, the blade was hand-polished with a hazuya stone, achieving a mirror finish and highlighting the steel's details. As with every premium sword replica in our offer, this Shikai model also features a partially hardened edge with a real Choji-type hamon and a hardness of 52 HRC. The Full Tang construction significantly increases the sword's structural integrity. This model can be combined into a set with the Shikai Katana.

The blade tip of Chu-Kissaki type with a perfectly defined Diamond-Shaped Yokote is complemented by the functional Bo-Hi fuller. The Sori curve is designed for precise cuts, allowing for effective tameshigiri practice on straw mats or bamboo. This replica is an ideal choice for advanced martial arts training as well as a valuable collector's item.
