Crafted replica of the katana sword Wakizashi Shikai, AISI 1075 steel, Nagasa 1.66 Shaku

The blade of this hand-forged replica of the wakizashi type is made from folded AISI 1075 carbon steel. In the final stage, the blade was hand-polished with a hazuya stone, achieving a mirror finish and highlighting the steel's details. As with every premium sword replica in our offer, this Shikai model also features a partially hardened edge with a real Choji-type hamon and a hardness of 52 HRC. The Full Tang construction significantly increases the sword's structural integrity. This model can be combined into a set with the Shikai Katana.

The blade tip of Chu-Kissaki type with a perfectly defined Diamond-Shaped Yokote is complemented by the functional Bo-Hi fuller. The Sori curve is designed for precise cuts, allowing for effective tameshigiri practice on straw mats or bamboo.
