Product detailed description

Dragon Flower Horimono Katana Replica – The Dragon's Might

A Masterful Fusion of Blacksmithing Art, Precision Engraving, and Functionality in Traditional Style.

The Dragon Flower Horimono Katana Replica is crafted from high-quality T-10 carbon steel in a Maru monosteel configuration. This steel is renowned for its strength and ability to maintain extreme sharpness. The blade is equipped with a Bo-Hi groove for better balance and a characteristic whistling sound during swings. A unique feature is the hand-carved Horimono engraving in the shape of a dragon, lending the replica an unmistakable character.

In the final stage, the blade was hand-polished with hazuya stone, achieving a mirror polish and razor-sharp edge. The real Suguha Hamon line (straight hardening line) is created through traditional differential hardening methods using clay. Thanks to its Full Tang construction, this model is suitable for practical use and demanding tameshigiri.
