This hand-forged wakizashi replica represents a modern interpretation of the traditional sword. The blade is crafted from premium AISI S7 steel, renowned for its extreme impact resistance. Like every precision training sword replica in our offering, this model is partially hardened to an impressive 60 HRC. The blade, in a koshi-zori design with a fuller (Bo-Hi), offers excellent ergonomics and balance. The polypropylene handle with a faux leather wrap ensures a secure grip even in demanding outdoor conditions. Thanks to its Full Tang construction, the sword is ideal for practicing tameshigiri on straw mats.

The blade is equipped with a Bo-Hi groove, which, when performed correctly, produces the characteristic sound of tachi kaze (wind of the sword). This functional replica is intended for sports use, technique study, and for collectors of modern versions of traditional tools.
