Collector replica Naginata Sheru, T-10 steel, artistic craftsmanship
Code: ST-33

Product detailed description
Collector's replica Naginata SHERU, T-10 steel, Nagasa 51 cm
The handmade replica Naginata SHERU represents a top-notch example of traditional craftsmanship. The blade made of T-10 steel was processed in a monocomposite Maru configuration and partially hardened according to historical procedures. Thanks to its high carbon content and hardness of 58 HRC, it exhibits excellent mechanical properties. The blade in Shinogi-Zukuri profile with a Bo-Hi groove was hand-polished to achieve an aesthetically perfect surface. The characteristic Choji Hamon line is the result of precise processing in a clay bath.

The Naginata is a historical object consisting of a wooden shaft and a curved blade. The art of training with this object is called naginatajutsu and is still studied in many schools worldwide. The SHERU model is fully disassembled and, thanks to its construction, is suitable for study purposes and display in private collections. The scabbard (saya) is made of hardwood with a matte black lacquer and hand-inlaid decorative elements made of crushed shells.
