Crafted Tachi Sword Replica, AISI 1095 Steel, Nagasa 2.3 Shaku

The forged blade of shinogi-zukuri type is crafted from premium AISI 1095 carbon steel. This steel in a Maru Monosteel Configuration has undergone a traditional differential hardening process, ensuring exceptional strength and precise edge retention. The blade with a Bo-Hi Groove has been hand-polished with a Hazuya stone, achieving a mirror finish and a superior edge. The Sori (curvature) geometry is designed for the cleanest cuts. The blade exhibits a high hardness of approx. 58 HRC, which, combined with the blade profile, allows for effective tameshigiri practice on straw mats or bamboo. The Full Tang construction ensures the high structural integrity of the entire sword.

The pronounced O-Kissaki blade tip with a perfectly defined Diamond-Shaped Yokote complements the real Choji Hamon, created by traditional master blacksmithing methods.
