The knife is not dishwasher safe.
Sharpening of Damascus steel knife
For the premium VG-10 core, we recommend water sharpening stones, which will maintain a precise edge. If you prefer professional care, we will gladly sharpen the knife for you, or teach you how to do it at our knife sharpening course.
Tip for a clean blade:
Even though VG-10 steel is stainless, the Damascus layers can develop a patina upon contact with aggressive substances. If you want the blade to look like new, use a baking soda paste and then coat the knife with a light oil.
