Taiga tanto replica made of AISI 1045 carbon steel

The forged blade of this Taiga tanto is made of AISI 1045 carbon steel. The blade surface is decorated with a polished hamon line imitation, which gives the sword an authentic look. The tanto is sharply ground, so it will find its use not only as a stylish decoration but also for active martial arts training. Due to its hardness of 48 HRC, it is not intended for cutting hard materials that could damage the edge. The package includes a cloth bag for safe storage.

Tanto (短刀) is an integral part of the samurai set daishō (together with katana and wakizashi). This version stands out with a black glossy saya with decorative engraving and a handle wrapped in genuine stingray skin (samegawa).
