The Dirudo Katana Replica represents a masterful display of traditional craftsmanship. The hand-forged blade made of T-10 steel undergoes a differential hardening process using clay, achieving a hardness of 58 HRC. A characteristic feature is the real Choji hamon and a tip with a clearly defined Yokote, which is crucial for the structural stability of the point and shock absorption during iai practice. This fully functional replica is equipped with luxury accessories made of genuine buffalo horn (Koiguchi and Kojiri), which enhance the durability and aesthetic value of the Saya sheath.

The blade was forged in a monocomposite Maru configuration without a bo-hi groove, giving it greater momentum when performing practice cuts. The final hand polishing with a hazuya stone ensures a razor-sharp edge and highlights the fine structure of the steel. The specially designed Sori (2.2 cm) curve allows for clean and precise cuts into tatami or bamboo mats.

The Full Tang construction ensures high strength. The handle (Tsuka) consists of a wooden core wrapped in genuine ray skin (Samegawa) with a purple silk ITO wrap. Every detail is individually crafted to provide the replica with maximum stability and comfort during handling.
