The FAN katana replica is designed for discerning collectors who prefer a more substantial feel from their sword. The blade is hand-forged from premium T-10 carbon steel (1.1% carbon content), renowned for its ability to hold a precise edge. Thanks to lamination in a monocomposite Maru configuration and differential hardening, a beautiful, real Choji hamon (ripple pattern) was created on the blade, which is a unique signature of the master blacksmith.

The blade is made in a bo-hi groove-free design, which increases the overall rigidity and weight of the blade, ideal for clean practice cuts. The surface has been hand-polished with hazuya stone to achieve a mirror finish. Full Tang construction ensures maximum stability of the sword. The ko-kissaki tip is finished with a precisely defined Diamond-Shaped Yokote, which is crucial for the structural stability of the tip upon contact with material.

The shinogi-zukuri blade type with a Sori of 2.2 cm ensures fluidity and precision. Every component of this katana has been individually fitted to achieve a flawless whole.
