The Tanto Short Sword is a traditional Japanese knife worn by samurai along with the Wakizashi and Katana as part of the complete set known as Daisho. The Enoki model blade features a sori (curvature) designed for precise cutting. Combined with the high hardness of AISI 1095 steel and a full-tang construction, this piece is suitable for advanced practice of tameshigiri techniques on tatami or straw mats.

The blade tip is shaped in shinogi-zukuri with a chu kissaki and a genuine Diamond-Shaped Yokote that runs through the entire hamon up to the boshi.

Reasons for warranty invalidation - improper use

  • •Generally, this covers all activities except for practicing traditional techniques on special mats.
  • •Cutting unsuitable materials: Outdoor tools (axes, machetes) are intended for processing wood.
  • •Contact with other hard objects: This can lead to damage to the blade's structure. Traditional procedures require precise handling.

  • •Public carrying: Collector's replicas should always be in a sheath (Saya), and their transport must comply with legal regulations.
  • •Blade care: After each use, the blade must be cleaned and treated with oil to prevent oxidation.
  • •Storage: Store in a dry place. A stable environment is key to maintaining the quality of all components.
