Collector's replica of the Hanare katana made of AISI 1045 steel
Hand-forged Hanare replica with an authentic Choji hamon can be used as a unique decoration or as a functional aid for active practice of traditional forms. The used AISI 1045 carbon steel is partially hardened to a hardness of 48 HRC. The aesthetically pleasing design, the glossy black saya and tsuka (handle) covered with genuine rayskin, make this model a sought-after collector's item. The sword is delivered in a cloth bag. The tip of the blade is shaped in the shinogi-zukuri and chu kissaki style with a pronounced Diamond Shaped Yokote. The curvature (sori) is designed to achieve maximum precision during training. Thanks to the full tang construction, the model is suitable for practicing tameshigiri on tatami mats.
