Forged Japanese axe Satsuma-Ono Zenko Warikomi
The Satsuma-Ono Zenko tool is a top-notch assistant for precise carpentry tasks and fine wood splitting. Thanks to its balance and longer handle, this model is a perfect choice for outdoor activities, camping, and artistic woodworking.
The head is made using the traditional Warikomi method, where a hard cutting core made of 1045 carbon steel is forged into the body of tough steel. This "sandwich" process ensures high edge stability. Each piece bears the mark of the traditional production certificate, established by the Japanese government. The head is decorated with traditional grooves – seven stripes symbolize sacred mountains and, according to legend, bring the craftsman luck and protection during work.
