Katana Kage no Tsubasa - Wings of Shadow is a traditional uchigatana, a symbol of samurai honor, discipline and hidden strength. This type of katana, worn blade up, was designed for smooth draws and precise slashes that combine speed, elegance and total control.

The blade was hand forged from genuine Japanese Tamahagane steel, melted in a tatara furnace according to an ancient process. Master blacksmiths repeatedly forged and tempered it into the shinogi-zukuri (鎬造り ) shape - a classic profile with a distinctive shinogi dorsal line that provides the ideal balance between strength and sharpness. The slight curve of the sori ensures a smooth sec, while the chū-kissaki tip brings both elegance and functionality.

The blade gently reflects the straight hamon suguha, a symbol of calmness, precision and purity of spirit. This harmonious line of hardening perfectly complements the balanced shape of the shinogi-zukuri and underlines the character of the sword - unobtrusive, calm, but uncompromising.

The lacquered saya (scabbard) in a deep brown-black shade was created using the traditional urushi technique with a delicate texture - watered pine needles. The metal fittings are hand engraved and blackened, adding to the overall refinement.

The handle of the tsuka is braided with the traditional hineri-maki (捻り巻き ) style - a crossed silk ito braid that ensures a firm grip and aesthetic rhythm of diamond patterns. Underneath the braid, genuine samegawa stingray leather shines through, with golden menuki glittering in the form of a dragon - a symbol of strength, protection and wisdom.

Tsuba, fuchi and kashira bear a delicate floral motif that contrasts with the golden seppa and habaki to create a harmony of light and shadow.
