The Kuraun Katana Replica represents the pinnacle of blacksmithing craftsmanship. The blade is hand-forged from T-10 carbon steel (1.1% carbon content), known for its extreme strength and durability. Thanks to traditional differential clay tempering, a unique Choji hamon has been created on the blade – a rich line resembling clove flowers. The blade in Maru monocomposite configuration is equipped with a bo-hi groove for optimal balance.

The blade's surface was hand-polished with a hazuya stone, achieving a mirror finish and enhancing the contrast of the hardened line. The Full Tang construction ensures that the blade runs through the entire length of the handle, which is crucial for structural integrity. The ko-kissaki type tip features a defined Diamond-Shaped Yokote, which helps absorb shock and ensures stability during technique execution.

Blade type shinogi-zukuri with a curve of Sori 2.2 cm is designed for maximum precision. Each sword is individually fitted to ensure flawless functionality of all components.

Tsuka (handle): Wooden core wrapped in genuine ray skin (Samegawa) with a prominent blue silk ITO wrap. The blade is securely fastened with two bamboo pegs (mekugi).
Tsuba and Habaki: Quality cast guard with a traditional motif and a brass habaki (2.6 cm) for perfect alignment with the saya.
