This Mandji Sukashi katana replica represents a fusion of premium materials and traditional blacksmithing methods. The blade is hand-forged from T-10 tool steel (1.1% carbon) in a monosteel configuration Maru. Thanks to differential hardening, the edge achieves a hardness of 58 HRC. The shinogi-zukuri type blade is equipped with a Bo-Hi fuller, which lightens the sword and allows for acoustic control of the cut's purity (tachi kaze).

A prominent aesthetic feature is the calm, straight hardening line Suguha (nioi deki), inspired by the traditions of the Yamashiro and Yamato schools. The ko-kissaki type tip with a real Diamond-Shaped Yokote ensures high structural integrity. The blade was hand-polished with a hazuya stone in the final stage to achieve a mirror finish.

Reasons for warranty denial - improper use
  • •Intended exclusively for the study of traditional iaidō techniques.
  • •Cutting branches, trees, and bushes: axes or machetes are intended for this activity.
  • •Fencing with another blade: this leads to destructive damage to the edge.
  • •Always clean and oil the blade after use to prevent oxidation.

We provide a 100% satisfaction guarantee and a lifetime warranty against hidden material defects for this product. Each piece is individually inspected.
