This premium katana replica is a successful reproduction of the Ichimondji school blade, founded in the 13th century by master Norimune. The blade is hand-forged from premium T-10 high-carbon steel (1.1% carbon), which in a monocomposite Maru configuration offers exceptional durability and the ability to hold a precise edge. A characteristic feature is the real Choji hamon (clove-shaped hardening line) and the presence of a midare ucuri shadow, indicating high material quality.

The exceptional nature of this model is highlighted by the excellent horimono engraving with the motif of a three-toed dragon ha-agari tatsu with a Hoju pearl of wisdom. The shinogi-zukuri type blade features a hand-defined chu kissaki tip with a genuine Diamond-Shaped Yokote. The Yokote ensures the structural integrity of the tip and effectively disperses energy during traditional tameshigiri practice.

The Shirasaya set is made from high-quality, unvarnished magnolia wood. This wood is valued in swordsmithing for its ability to absorb excess moisture and protect the blade from corrosion. Full Tang construction with the blade extending the full length of the handle ensures maximum stability. Each component, including the brass habaki, is individually crafted to form a harmonious whole of superior aesthetic and functional value.
