The hand-forged T-10 steel blade undergoes differential hardening, achieving a hardness of 58 HRC and an authentic Choji hamon. The ko kissaki type tip is equipped with a genuine Diamond-Shaped Yokote, ensuring the blade's structural integrity and stability during practice cuts on straw mats.
The blade, without a bo-hi groove, was hand-polished with a hazuya stone in the final stage, resulting in a precise edge and high gloss. The special curvature Sori (2.2 cm) is designed for clean and fluid cuts. All components, from the habaki to the saya, are individually crafted from the highest quality materials.
The Full Tang construction ensures high durability. The handle (Tsuka) consists of a wooden core wrapped in genuine ray skin (Samegawa) with a distinctive yellow ITO leather wrap. A unique element of this replica is the wooden scabbard (Saya) adorned with a hand-carved dragon ornament, making this piece an exceptional collector's item.
