The PINE Katana Sword Replica represents a perfect fusion of aesthetics and functionality. Its clean lines pay homage to historical predecessors. The blade of this replica is hand-forged from T-10 carbon steel (1.1% carbon content), renowned for its extreme strength and ability to maintain structural integrity. The distinctive Suguha hamon is created through traditional clay tempering.
The blade with the bo-hi groove has been hand-polished with hazuya stone for a mirror finish and to accentuate the hamon. The Sori (curvature of 2.2 cm) is designed for ideal balance during the practice of traditional techniques. Full Tang construction, where the blade runs through the entire handle, ensures maximum stability and durability of the entire model.
The blade tip in shinogi-zukuri style with an extended long o-kissaki features a true Diamond-Shaped Yokote. This structural solution helps to dissipate energy during handling and contributes to the stability of the blade's tip.
