The distinct, real Choji hamon is created using traditional differential hardening methods, guided by the expertise of a master blacksmith. Every element of this katana is individually crafted, including the habaki and saya. The finest components are utilized, such as premium lacquer for the scabbard and genuine stingray skin of the highest quality (Samegawa). This blade has been tested to achieve maximum stability and cutting purity.
The Full Tang construction significantly increases the sword's strength. The Shinogi-zukuri blade type features a Ko-Kissaki with a genuine Diamond-Shaped Yokote, contributing to the tip's structural integrity and stability during cuts. The Sori (blade curvature) is specifically designed to achieve the finest cuts when slicing through tatami, straw mats, or bamboo during tameshigiri practice.
