The Shirasaya RAIN Katana Replica represents a return to the clean lines of Japanese swordsmithing tradition. The Shirasaya set was historically created for the safe storage of the blade during peacetime, with magnolia wood providing ideal protection for the steel. This fully functional replica combines understated natural design with uncompromising blade quality, featuring a rare straight Suguha type hamon and a structurally important tip with Yokote.

The blade is hand-forged in a Maru monocomposite configuration from select T-10 steel. Thanks to the differential hardening process using clay, the edge achieves an impressive hardness of 58 HRC. The surface was hand-polished with a hazuya stone in the final stage, achieving a highly precise edge and a mirror finish that highlights the Boshi line.

The construction is Full Tang, which significantly increases the strength of the entire replica. The blade tip in the Shinogi-Zukuri profile features a genuine Diamond-Shaped Yokote. This element is crucial for the structural integrity of the tip, helping to absorb shocks and contributing to maximum stability during cutting practice.
