This exclusive replica of a Japanese Tsurugi sword (also known as Ken) represents the pinnacle of blacksmithing artistry. The blade is crafted from genuine Tamahagane steel, produced by traditional smelting in tatara furnaces. The symmetrical blade profile with a double-edged blade was hand-polished with a hazuya stone, highlighting the subtle hardening line of the Hamon Suguha. This replica samurai sword is the result of hundreds of hours of manual labor and showcases craftsmanship passed down through generations.
The handle (Tsuka) features a wooden core wrapped in genuine ray skin (Samegawa) and is secured with a mekugi peg made of black buffalo horn. Similarly, the scabbard fittings (Koiguchi and Kojiri) are made of genuine horn, underscoring the authenticity of this sword replica. The scabbard made of hardwood has an elegant matte black finish.
