Product detailed description
Master replica of the Tsunami White Katana – T-10 Steel, Long O-Kissaki
This exclusive Tsunami White Katana replica is crafted from high-carbon T-10 tool steel. The blade, in a Maru configuration, was differentially hardened using the traditional clay coating method, resulting in a unique real Choji hamon. The blade without a groove (bo-hi) was hand-polished with a hazuya stone to achieve a mirror finish and exceptional sharpness. Thanks to its construction, this replica is ideally balanced for smooth and clean cuts during tameshigiri practice.
The shinogi-zukuri type construction is finished with an extra-long Long O-Kissaki tip, measuring 8 cm. The true Diamond-Shaped Yokote enhances tip stability and helps absorb shock. This is a Full Tang design, where the blade runs through the entire handle and is secured by two bamboo pegs (mekugi).
