To maintain the cutting properties of VG-10 steel, we recommend using diamond and water sharpening stones. If you are unsure, we will be happy to sharpen the knife for you individually. We also organize knife sharpening courses for beginners. Improper sharpening can irreversibly damage the unique structure of the Damascus pattern.
Blade Cleaning:
Even stainless Damascus steel can develop surface stains upon contact with aggressive substances. This is not rust from the steel, but oxidation of particles on the surface. To remove them, use a paste of baking soda and a cork. We recommend regularly treating the knife with mineral oil.|
