Product detailed description
Handcrafted Katana Sword Replica Himawari, AISI 1045, Sunflower Motif
The forged Himawari sword made of AISI 1045 carbon steel represents a perfect balance between a functional training tool and a work of art. The name Himawari (meaning sunflower) refers to the precise hand-engraved motif on the black glossy saya sheath and the decorated brass tsuba guard. This katana replica with a Full Tang construction (the blade runs through the entire handle) is designed for active martial arts practice and training correct movement techniques, while also serving as a luxurious decoration due to its detailed ornamentation.

The tip of the blade is shaped in the Chu-Kissaki style with a clearly defined Diamond-Shaped Yokote. Due to the blade hardness of 48 HRC and the absence of differential hardening, this sword is not intended for cutting hard materials (tameshigiri into wood or bamboo), but it is excellent for practicing cut clarity and handling. The package includes a traditional cloth bag for safe storage of the sword.
