Product detailed description
Crafted replica of the Junrei-sha katana sword, AISI 1045 steel, Nagasa 2.30 Shaku
This forged katana replica of shinogi-zukuri type is made from proven AISI 1045 carbon steel. This is an ideal model for practicing basic martial arts techniques and for decorative purposes. The blade is equipped with a Bo-Hi groove, which serves to lighten the sword and also provides acoustic feedback – with a technically correct cut, the blade will produce the sound effect of tachi kaze. The aesthetics of the sword are enhanced by a polished imitation of the hamon tempering line. The Full Tang construction and the use of traditional materials ensure an authentic feel during handling.

The blade tip of type Chu-Kissaki with a defined Diamond-Shaped Yokote corresponds to traditional morphology. This katana replica is primarily intended for practicing forms (kata) and training the correct cutting angle. Due to the lower steel hardness (48 HRC), it is not designed for cutting hard materials, but excels as a study tool and collector's item. The sword is delivered in a protective cloth bag.
