    Samurai Katana Kaneru with T-10 Carbon Steel Blade

    The forged Kaneru sword with a blade of T-10 carbon steel boasts a realistic Notare hamon. This premium katana is ideal as a prestigious decoration, a tool for practicing traditional Asian techniques, or a collector's item. The steel is partially hardened and achieves a hardness of 58 HRC. The attractive blade, the speckled saya with quality wrapping, and the tsuka (handle) covered in genuine rayskin make this piece a highly sought-after collector's item. The sword is delivered in a protective cloth bag. The Dellinger company recommends exercising increased caution during handling. This traditional tool should be stored out of reach of children. Any handling of this exhibit is at the user's own risk.

    The blade tip is shaped in the shinogi-zukuri style and chu-kissaki with an authentic Diamond Shaped Yokote, which flows smoothly through the hamon to the boshi.

    The blade curvature (sori) is designed to achieve the most precise and delicate cuts. In conjunction with the high hardness of the steel and the full-tang construction, this sword is ideal for tameshigiri (cutting into tatami mats or bamboo).

    • •Saya: (sheath - scabbard) made of hardwood in a speckled finish. Sage-O silk cord wrap is tied around the Kurigata (button) of the Saya
    • •Tsuba: (guard) black cast, intricately detailed with a gold edge
    • •Tsuka: (handle) wooden core wrapped in genuine stingray skin (Samegawa) with black Ito wrap. The katana blade is secured by two mekugi (bamboo pegs). On each side there is a menuki (ornament). Handle end (Kashira) with floral motif

    • •Blade length (Nagasa) – 69.5 cm (from the end of Habaki)
