The Mokuhyō katana replica is a top-tier tool for connoisseurs who appreciate precise blade geometry. It is hand-forged from high-carbon T-10 steel (1.1% carbon content), ensuring excellent strength and material stability. Thanks to the monocomposite Maru configuration and partial hardening, a distinct real Choji hamon has been created on the blade, forged according to ancient blacksmithing methods.
The blade is equipped with a bo-hi groove for optimal balance and weight reduction of the construction. The surface has been hand-polished with hazuya stones to achieve a mirror finish and visual depth. Full Tang construction, where the blade runs through the entire handle, guarantees maximum integrity of the entire piece. The presence of a Diamond-Shaped Yokote on the ko-kissaki tip not only enhances aesthetic value but also helps absorb energy during handling and ensures tip stability.
The shinogi-zukuri blade geometry with a Sori of 2.2 cm is designed for smooth execution of traditional training techniques. The brass Habaki ensures a perfect fit of the blade in the scabbard.
