This DELLINGER Tanto Lenge Obsidian VG10 knife has become a legend! You'd be hard pressed to find a beast like this Tanto knife. It offers a very sharp blade, the handle is made to fit perfectly in the hand. The material used ensures the durability of the knife. The knives are made in the traditional way, which guarantees exceptional blade strength and resistance to dulling.

The Tanto type of knife was designed to penetrate armour and protection of all kinds. The tanto blade is similar to the style of Japanese long and short swords. The Tanto knife has a high blade with a flat grind, which leads to extremely strong penetration and is thus ideal for stabbing into hard materials.

The long blade has a cutting core made of damascene steel VG10. The core is sandwiched between 66 layers of 2 SS316 Damascene stainless steels for exceptional durability and toughness. The blade of this knife undergoes hardening in very precise vacuum heat treatment furnaces. Each knife is hand-ground and at a hardness of around 61 HRC achieves exceptional to extreme sharpness.

The handle is made of ebony wood.

Leather case included. It's made of triple-grain cowhide leather - leather imported from Argentina combined with snake skin and pearl fish skin. It is hand stitched with 1mm diameter braided thread.
