    nagasa 2.42 Shaku

    Forged Japanese sword SHIRASAYA with real Choji hamon. Sharp (cut) samurai sword SHIRASAYA will find its use as a decoration, but also for active martial arts training. The steel is partially hardened and has a hardness grade of 58 HRC. Attractive and sharp blade, saya and handle made of hard magnolia wood, all this makes this shirasaya very interesting and desirable. The blade of the shirasaya is decorated with a real hamon Choji. Company Dellinger disclaims all liability for injury and damage resulting from use. Keep the shirasaya out of the reach of children ! Any handling of the samurai sword is your own responsibility. Remember, you are holding a deadly weapon!

    The tip of the blade is shaped shinogi-zukuri and long o kissaki with a real Diamond-Shaped Yokote that goes all the way through the hamon to the boshi.

    The blade has a sori (blade curvature) designed for the cleanest and finest cuts. Combined with the impressive hardness of the steel and the full tang construction of the katana, it is possible to easily cut through tatami, straw mats or bamboo for tameshigiri.

    The blade in the blade design with a groove (shinogi zukuri) is ideal for training the cleanness of the slash, because thanks to the groove of the bo-hi, the blade "whistles"(tachi kaze - "wind of the sword") during a technically well-executed stroke, so that it is possible to verify the correct execution of the technique.
