Hand forged Chinese TANG-DAO sword with real hamon. Blade made of AISI 1095 steel of the highest quality. The steel was laminated in a layered configuration (damascus) - differentially hardened. The AISI 1095 carbon steel (0.95% carbon and 0.4% manganese content) is very strong and holds its sharpness very well. The production of this blade goes through 14 processes up to hand sharpening- the surface of the blade is like a mirror. The blade has been polished with hazuya stone in the final stage - this achieves an almost razor sharp edge.

The real hamon is created according to ancient traditional methods, which are based on many years of experience of the master blacksmith who spent several days making this beautiful weapon.
