Product detailed description

Spirit of Munro - Star Dust

Exclusive limited edition – only 300 pieces made

Star Dust is an exceptional collector's tool created as a tribute to a man who embodies the passion for speed and perfection. In 1967, New Zealander Burt Munro, at the age of 76, achieved a world record of 184 miles per hour (approx. 300 km/h) on his Indian motorcycle – which is why this series is limited to a symbolic 300 pieces. This record remains unbroken to this day.

Thanks to the cooperation with Václav Urban and the kind permission of the legend's son, John Munro, this knife bears official Indian brand elements and the signature of Burt himself. The blade is made of unique damascus stainless steel without a core and thanks to ceramic ball bearings, it offers incredibly smooth operation. Safety is ensured by a precise liner lock. The handle made of noble Redwood adorns the iconic starting number 35.

This collector's set includes a sheath made of genuine cowhide leather, a metal pin with the unique piece number, a stylish patch, and a certificate of authenticity. Everything is stored in a luxurious rosewood case.

Protecting Damascus steel:

Any spots on the surface are not a defect of the steel, but a reaction to external influences. To remove them, use a paste of baking soda and a soft cloth. Subsequent treatment of the blade with oil will help maintain its brilliant appearance.

Uniqueness of natural materials

Every Spirit of Munro knife is an original. The Damascus steel and Redwood wood have their own unique grain, so your specimen may differ slightly from the photo, which confirms its authenticity and uniqueness.
