Product detailed description
Forged katana Akuma-Tekina with Choji hamon and folded AISI 1075 blade
This masterful functional katana replica, designated Akuma-Tekina, represents a perfect balance between aesthetics and performance. The blade is forged from folded AISI 1075 carbon steel, which gives it a characteristic texture and high durability. Like every quality katana replica in our offer, the Akuma-Tekina features partial hardening, creating a distinctive real Choji hamon. With a blade hardness of 52 HRC and precise balance, this sword is intended for both collecting purposes and for active practice of martial arts forms and cutting on straw mats.

The tip of the blade, type Chu-Kissaki, is complemented by a Diamond Shaped Yokote, which extends through the hamon to the tip (boshi). The Sori (curvature) geometry is optimized for a smooth and clean cut. This katana replica is fully disassemblable thanks to the securing of two bamboo pegs (mekugi).
