Kuro Take Shira Saya Katana Replica, Folded AISI 1075 Steel, Choji Hamon

This sharpened Kuro Take replica represents an exceptional fusion of functionality and traditional aesthetics. The Shinogi-zukuri type blade is forged from folded AISI 1075 steel. During forging, the steel was folded 11 times, creating 2048 layers that ensure optimal flexibility and a unique grain texture on the blade's surface. The manufacturing process involves 14 stages, including manual grinding, resulting in a blade with a real Choji hamon line and a hardness of 52 HRC.

Reasons for warranty denial - improper use
  • •Intended exclusively for the study of traditional cutting techniques on mats.
  • •Cutting branches, trees, and bushes: axes or machetes are intended for this activity.
  • •Fencing with another blade: this leads to destructive damage to the edge.
  • •Always clean and oil the blade after use to prevent oxidation.
